Urban Herding

This past winter a starling accidentally wandered into the Geese Wrangler office.

We're not great at catching birds inside. (Or outside for that matter.)

Actually, it was Speck to who let us know we had a visitor. Then she got to work and helped us round it up by holding it in a corner where we could catch it and put it back outside.

Unlike Canada geese, this bird was more afraid of us than Speck.

First it decided to hang out on one of the computer stands, then it traveled into another room and got under some furniture.




Speck herded the starling back into the office. She managed to get it "penned" behind my desk in a corner, where I was able to catch the it and release it outside.

You gotta love herding dogs...............
